Shutti, ex-Unilorite emerges NAHCON’s Adm Director

An alumnus of the University of Ilorin, Alhaji Alidu Shutti, has emerged as the Director of Administration and Human Resources, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria(NAHCON).
The appointment of the distinguished Unilorite was sequel to a recent reorganisation of the top hierarchy of the Commission as announced in a statement signed by its Deputy Director, Information, Mrs Fatima Sanda Usara.
Mrs Usara explained that the appointment, which takes immediate effect, has been approved by the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman.
Alhaji Shutti, a prolific broadcaster and seasoned administrator, obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Ilorin in 1994. He also received his Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University in 1998 as well as a Diploma in Journalism, from the International Institute of Journalism (IJI), Abuja
Prior to his emergence as NAHCON’s Director of Administration, Alhaji Shutti has held various positions at the Commission including Assistant Director, Licence; Deputy Director, States and Zones; and Director, Inspectorate and Compliance. He also served as the Ag. Secretary of the Commission between December, 2024 and February, 2025.
