The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), University of Ilorin Chapel has concluded arrangements to hold a 2-Day Media Workshop between September 8 and 9, 2025.

According to a notification made available to UNILORIN Bulletin, the programme, themed “Journalism in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, will take place at the University Auditorium Basement from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Guest Speakers are Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin, who is a member of the Board of the International Press Institute (IPI), Vienna, Austria, and the Chief  Promoter of Gerin FM, Ilorin, and former Head, Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, Dr Mahmud Abdulraheem.

The notification also showed that the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, will be the Chief Host while the Chairman of the Chapel, Mr Adewoyin Adekola Tijani, will be the host.
