The management of the University of Ilorin has appreciated the 2017/2018 alumni of the Department of Geography and Environmental Management for their generous donation of equipment valued at about N1 million to the Department.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla and dated  August 27, 2025, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN Bulletin.

Mr Alfanla said, “Your support and contributions as esteemed alumni are testament to your commitment to giving back to your alma mater, supporting the growth and development of the Department as well as the University as a whole”.

” Your  kind donation will greatly benefit the Department and contribute to its continued academic excellence.Please be assured that the equipment will be effectively and efficiently put to use”, the Registrar added.
