The University of Ilorin has recorded another milestone as its African Agriculture Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) project for 2022 to 2023 (Round 4) has been graded ‘Very Good’ by Innovate UK.
In a statement co-signed by both the Project’s Academic Lead, Prof. Joshua Olanrewaju Olaoye and the Academic Supervisor, Prof. Musliu Olushola Sunmonu, said, “We are happy to inform the management of the University of Ilorin that we have received news from Mr Ken Frame, our Knowledge Transfer Adviser that our project (African Agriculture Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP): 2022 to 2023. Round 4.) has been graded as Very Good (Grade B) by Innovate UK.
According to them, the announcement from the Knowledge Exchange Officer, Darsheet Chauhan, was made in the presence of other members of the team.
The duo congratulated all members of the partnership on the remarkable achievement, saying that “The “Very Good” (Grade B) rating from Innovate UK is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the entire team.”
They also disclosed that the team is currently working on two additional publications, in addition to the earlier two papers already published in Q1 outlets and sponsored by the project stemming from the earlier work done.
“The University of Ilorin team has drafted two proposals for review in the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP): 2025 – 2026 Round 3.”, they added.
