The death has been announced of a staff member of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin, Mrs Salamat Funmilayo Abdulkadir.

Mrs Abdulkadir died last Tuesday (March 11, 2025) at the age of 57 and her remains were buried the next day in accordance to Muslim rites.

She was survived by her husband and three children.
