A 500 level student of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, Ibrahim Wakeel Ayinde, has emerged as the new National President of the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS).
Ibrahim’s election was announced by the Returning Officer after he scored 87 votes to defeat his two other rivals, Afolabi Afobaje Abdulazeez of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, who scored 61 votes and Babalola Ibrahim Folorunsho of the University of Ilorin, who scored 1 vote.
In his appreciation message, the newly elected National President expressed gratitude to stakeholders, senators, and members of the general congress for their unwavering support.
