A Professor of Health Promotion and Science Education at the University of Ilorin,

UNILORIN Bulletin search revealed that for the past 21 weeks, Prof. Olaitan’s research has earned him recognition as the most read in Nigeria, globally, and at the institution, solidifying his position as a leading scholar in his field.
According to the search, “His contributions have consistently garnered impressive attention, such as on January 6, 2025, his work achieved 5,486 new reads, making it the most read contribution from Nigeria for that week. His research further reached global recognition when, on January 13, 2025, it garnered 5,414 new reads, making it the most read item globally within Science Education. In addition, his work on December 1, 2024, attracted 9,621 new reads, marking it as the most read contribution in Science Education worldwide that week.
“Prof. Olaitan’s achievements are not limited to these milestones. On December 8, 2024, he garnered 6,698 new reads, making it the most read research from the University of Ilorin for that week, and just weeks before, on November 24, 2024, his work earned 8,720 new reads, once again securing the top spot at his institution”.
