Unilorin Receives 90KVA Solar Inverters And Hilux Van Donation
The University of Ilorin has launched a 90kva alternative power supply system at its Administrative Building, courtesy of a donation from Starlink Global & Ideal Ltd.
The company, a leading player in the procurement and export of quality agricultural commodities, was represented at the launch by Alhaji Alabi Rahman, Director of Accounts, and Alhaji Hassan Nurein, Director of Administration.
The project, facilitated by Sovereign Campus Concept Ltd, includes the installation of 90kva solar inverters and the donation of a Hilux van.
While inaugurating the alternative power supply system today (February 7, 2025), the Vice Chancellor Prof. Wahab Egbewole, SAN, expressed gratitude to the donor for choosing the University of Ilorin as the beneficiary of this generous donation.
This alternative power supply system is expected to provide a reliable and sustainable source of energy for the university community.
