UNILORIN Zoo organises maiden Fest Family Funfair

All is set for the maiden Fest Family Funfair organised by the University of Ilorin Zoological Garden in conjunction with the UNILORIN Holdings.

A statement signed by the Manager of the Zoo, Mr Olatunji Yusuf, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN Bulletin, explained that the event would hold on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Zoo Arena beginning at 12 noon.

The statement explained that the event, which would include animal viewing, quiz competitions, horse riding, dance competitions, egg and sack races, and more, would be presided-over by the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, CON, while the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, would be the Chief Host.

Mr Yusuf added that the  Keynote Speaker at the event would be a former Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Ilorin, Prof. A. T. Ande, as Prof. B. A. Raji would be the Host.

The statement added that individuals, groups, schools, families, associations, and others are invited to attend while the gate fee is ₦2,000.00 only.

Mr Yusuf, said that in addition to animal viewing and other stimulating items, participants would also be entertained by notable comedians like TimmyGold, Karikatalk, Baba Kamo, and others.
