I was born in Shiya, Baruten local Government area of Kwara State, Nigeria. I attended Nawar-Deen Primary school Saki, Oyo State and moved to Parapo Community Grammar School Saki, Oyo State. I then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where I obtained my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), 2008, Master degree in Veterinary Anatomy (MSc), 2014 and Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Pathology (Ph.D.), 2018.

I joined the service of University of Ilorin, Ilorin in 2012 as a Lecturer II in the department of Veterinary Pathology. I was upgraded to Lecturer I after the completion of my MSc in 2014. Presently, I completed my Ph.D. in 2018, but awaiting the next promotion to Senior Lecturer.

I am an Anatomic Pathologist with research interest in Toxicopathology, Molecular Pathology, Reproductive Pathology and Pathology of Infectious Diseases of animals. I published my research articles in both the local, national and international Journal of higher repute.

For my administrative experience and community service, I coordinated departmental courses, necropsy classes and clinical classes for clinical students from 2012 to 2015. I also serve as departmental examination officer from 2012 to 2017. Before now, I served as faculty committee member in the following committees; mock accreditation, quality control and assurance, editorial Journal, Welfare, and Teaching and Research Farm. I was equally nominated as a faculty representative in; Communication and Information Science department and Penultimate Year Screening committee. I was appointed a level adviser from 2012 to 2018 and recently appointed me. A coordinator in the department of Veterinary Pathology, 2020 till date.
