An Applied Geoscientist of 15 years experience in university teaching, research, and the industry across Europe, north America, and Africa, with workstation-based global experience of subsurface evaluation using geological and geophysical data from different parts of the world including West Texas oil field, United States; Cooper Aeromanga Basin, Australia; Nova Scotian Basin, Canada; Gullfaks oil Field, North Sea, Norway; Niger Delta, Nigeria; and Cuanza Basin, Angola. Taught undergraduate and graduate modules in geophysics and geology, supervise 100+ undergraduate projects, 16 M.Sc. and 2 Ph.D. thesis, and published over 50 peer-reviewed scientific papers. Has broad range of administrative experience as a former Director of University-Industry Partnership and Students Internship, Deputy-Director of Research, and Deputy Director of the Centre for International Education. Worked in a range of industry from Oil and gas to Mineral mining and groundwater. Skilled in software development and programming using MATLAB and Python; Won scholarships, awards, fellowship, and grants.

Over the years, I have developed special skills, interest, and expertise in Seismic processing and wave-field analysis, Seismic reflection imaging (with Q-Compensation), Tomographic inversion of rock properties, Well logs correlation and analysis, Rock physics modeling of effect of fluid, saturation, and pressure changes in rocks, Groundwater exploration and development, groundwater flow modeling, groundwater pollution and mitigation studies, and Engineering Geophysics applied to dams, road, tunnels, and other engineering infrastructure. I have programing skills that is adaptable to solving geoscience problems, and good experience in software development. I have eyes for innovation, strong willingness for learning and sharing knowledge. I work well in a team and have the ability to work alone with little or no supervision. I have participated in many local and international geoscience technical meetings and conferences, and published over 60 scientific papers/research works, some of which have attracted awards, recognitions, fellowship, and scholarships in the United States, United Kingdom, China, and Nigeria.
