Dr Hadijat Olaide Raji joined the services of the University of Ilorin as a Lecturer 1in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2009 and rose to become an Associate Profes-sor in the same Department in 2018. She is a Honorary Consultant Obstetrician- Gynaecol-ogist to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital and is a member of the Research Ethics Committee of both the University of Ilorin and the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. She is an experienced clinician who is involved in clinical activities, teaching and research work. She participates in the training of undergraduate medical students and post graduate medical doctors and has co-supervised several postgraduate dissertations. Her area of interest is Feto-maternal medicineand this led her to take part in a Clinical Ob-servershipat UniversitiKebaangsan Malaysia and also at the University College London Hos-pital (UCLH), London and also undertake an MSc in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at the prestigious University College London (UCL). She is currently the Secretary of the Asso-ciation of Fetomaternal Medicine Specialist of Nigeria (AFEMSON), an affiliate of the Soci-ety for Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON).She is a facilitator at the Federal Ministry of Health Essential Newborn Care Course (ENCC), Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care Course and the annual Benin Fetal Medicine and Diagnostic Ultrasound Course which is affiliated to the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG).
