Dr Ibraheem was a Lecturer at the Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal 1998 – 2005.
Joined the University of Ilorin as a lecturer and researcher in Arabic from January 3rd, 2006 as Assistant Lecturer. He is presently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Arabic. He was, at the Department, Coordinator, Remedial Programme, from 2009 to 2014; Level Adviser/Registration Officer, 2006 – 2014; Examination Officer, 2010 to 2014, Academic Staff Secretary, 2008 -2014 and Departmental Translator. He is a Member, Faculty of Arts task force on Result Computation 2010 to date, Members, Faculty of Arts Web-link committee 2010 to date Member, Faculty of Arts Research Ethical Committee and the faculty of Arts representative on the Board faculty of Law. He was an Assistant Director (Administration), Centre for International Education (CIE), Unilorin, 2008-2010; Assistant Director (Operation) at the Centre 2010-2013.and Assistant Director, Advancement Office, Unilorin, 2014 to date. He is a fellow of the African Humanities Program (AHP) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), The National Secretary of the Academic Society of Arabic Language and Literature in Nigeria (ASALLIN), Member, National Association of Teacher of Arabic and Islamic Studies (NATAIS), Member Islamic Literature Council, Saudi Arabia and Others.
