Dr. Patrick Udende is a Senior Lecturer, who teaches in the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He earns B.A., M.Sc. and Ph.D. all in Mass Communication at Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria. His research interests are Social Media Studies, Political Communication, and Public Relations and Advertising. He is a member of African Council for Communication Education, Association of Communication Scholars and Practitioners of Nigeria, and Association of Media and Communication Researchers of Nigeria. Dr. Udende has published in both national and international journals as well as in edited books. His happy marriage is blessed with four children. His hobbies include playing and watching football.
