Mr Olusegun  Omoniyi Ige

Mr. Ige had his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Geology from the University of Ilorin in 1998 and 2003 respectively.  He is also at the completion stage of his Ph.D. research of the same department.  He joined the Department as an Assistant lecturer in 2004 and rose to the rank of Lecturer II in 2008.

Mr. O.O. Ige is a joint author of any scholarly papers in reputable journals.  His research interests are in Engineering Methods of Waste Management (Special Focus on Nigeria Cities), Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology.

He has held many administrative offices in the Department and current the Departmental Project and Seminar Coordinator.
Mr. Ige is a current member of the Technical Review Committee on Project Implementation of the Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja.
