ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry.

(i) UTME

Five ‘O’ Level credit passes in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. The UTME subjects are English Language, Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Mathematics. Students who have successfully completed the School of Preliminary Studies Programme and passed UTME with a minimum score are also admitted into 100 level of the programme.

(ii) Direct Entry:

GCE ‘A’ level or equivalent in a minimum of two relevant science subjects i.e. Chemistry and Physics. NCE (Chemistry and Physics) is acceptable but ND is not acceptable. In addition, candidates must have West African Senior School Certificate or GCE ‘O’ Level credit or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and English Language. 

Programme structure

Students admitted through UME run a 4-year degree programme while those admitted through the direct entry run a 3 – year degree programme.

Our curriculum is in conformity with BMAS.
