Toyin Abiodun Bamigboye joined the services of the University of Ilorin in 1998 as Administrative Assistant in the Registry Department. He rose through the rung to become a Deputy Registrar in 2018; the status he is till date. 

He attended the Kwara State College of Education, Oro from where he was awarded the National Certificate in Education (NCE) and later the University of Ilorin where he graduated with the Bachelor’s degree (Education) in Language Arts English in 1993. In his quest for additional knowledge, he obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism (PGDJ) from the International Institute of Journalism, an affiliate of the University of Maiduguri while he added another Postgraduate degree, Master in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) from the University of Ilorin..

As a Registry staff, he has worked in the Directorates of Corporate Affairs (formerly Information Unit), Academic Support Services and Directorate of Human Resources.

He is a member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), the foremost professional association for University Administrators.

Mr. Bamigboye has taken part in local and international conferences and workshops on leadership and management. He is a hard working and due diligent staff, who has zero tolerance for indolence and laziness. The attribute which earned him the award of: “Administrator of the Year 2015” by the University of Ilorin.  

A good team player who is committed to the actualization of the Vision and Mission of the institution. He is happily married and blessed with children.
