Mallam A. A. Ahmed is currently a Deputy Bursar in charge of the Salaries, Loans and Advances (SLA) unit of Bursary Department of the University of Ilorin.
He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Accounting from the University of Ilorin, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akoko-Akungba, Bachelor of Law (LLB) Degree from the University of Ilorin and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Accounting from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Accounting from the Kwara State University, Malete, Kwara State, Nigeria.
In the professional realm, he is a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) as well as an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM-CHARTERED).
He was the pioneer head of two different units in the history of Bursary Department of the University of Ilorin namely Revenue unit as well as Procurement, Investment Research & Statistics Unit. Thus, his work experience traverses virtually all the units in the Bursary Department of the University of Ilorin.
He has vast knowledge in accounting, auditing, tax matters, financial management as well as procurement related jobs spanning two and half decades.
He is a very dutiful, committed and industrious staff who had impacted positively in the life of many of his staff who had opportunity of working relationship with him.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
