He held a bachelor degree from University of Ilorin in 1985 and a master degree in 2004 also the University of Ilorin. He joined the service of University of Ilorin and rose through the rank of the position of Deputy Registrar in October, 2015. He is a Nigerian and an indigene of Ekiti State, from Ikole Local Government Area , Married with children
