Degree Programmes

The Faculty offers the following programmes

B.Engineering

Agricultural Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

A.   3-year degree course for H.N.D. Candidates.  Candidates having at least good passes at Upper Credit level in Higher Diploma or equivalent in relevant engineering disciplines may be considered for entry into 300 levels of engineering degree programme provided they:

    1.   Satisfy UME Entry requirements;

    2.   Have at least one year post H.N.D. experience

B.   4-year Programme:  Direct Entry

1. G.C.E. ‘A’ Level or Equivalent in Mathematics (Pure, Applied or Pure and Applied), Physics and Chemistry.
2. OND at upper credit level in the relevant discipline with at least one year post OND experience.
3. Satisfy UME entry requirement (c.1) below

C.   5-year Programme through UME

1. ‘O’ Level credits in five subjects should include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language
2. UME Subjects should be English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
