(WAIVER) REMARKS           EDUCATION &  At least two ‘A’ level passes in GCE/IJMB or NCE in relevant subjects including Arabic Five ‘O’ level credit  passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Arabic.  Arabic and any two relevant Arts/Social Science subjects. DIRECT ENTRY: ARABIC:                   EDUCATION AND CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES Two ‘A’ level passes in GCE/IJMB/NCE to include CRS and any other Arts subjects. Five ‘O’ level credit CRS and any two relevant Arts/Social Science subjects. DIRECT ENTRY     passes in GCE/SSCE/ NECO/TC II Merit to include English Language, CRS and any other three Arts or Social Science subjects.                                   EDUCATION  & ECONOMICS (i) At least two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and Government/ Political Science/ Geography. Five ‘O’ level credit Economics, Mathematics, and one other subject from Geography or Government.     passes to include English Language, Economic and Mathematics.     (ii) NCE merit level passes in Economics and Geography               EDUCATION & ENGLISH (i) At least two GCE/IJMB ‘A’ level passes in relevant teaching subjects including Literature-in-English. Five ‘O’ level credit Literature-in-English, one Arts subject and any other subject.   (ii) NCE with credit or merit passes in two relevant subjects including English passes to include English Language and Literature-in-English plus three other Arts subjects.                     EDUCATION & FRENCH At least two ‘A’ level passes in GCE/IJMB/Equivalent/NCE merit in French and one other Arts subject. Five ‘O’ level credit French plus two other Arts subjects     to include English Language and French             EDUCATION & GEOGRAPHY Two ‘A’ level passes in GCE/IJMB/NCE merit level passes which should include Geography and Economics or Government/Political Science. Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include Geography, English Language, Mathematics and any other two Social Science subjects. Geography, Mathematics and either Government or Economics.                   EDUCATION & HISTORY Two IJMB/GCE ‘A’ level/NCE merit passes in History/Government and one other relevant Arts subject. Five ‘O’ level credits in English Language,  History/Government and any other three Arts subjects. History/Government and any other two Arts/Social Science subjects                   EDUCATION & ISLAMIC STUDIES (i) At least NCE merit passes in IRS and Education Five ‘O’ level or TC II credit/merit  passes to include English and Islamic Religious Studies Islamic Studies/Arabic and two other Social Science or Arts subjects   (ii) IJMB/GCE ‘A’ level passes in Arabic/IRS and any other relevant Arts subject.                       EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT (i) At least two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent to include at least one teaching subject in Arts/Social science subjects Five ‘O’ level credits in GCE/SSCE/NECO/TC II/equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics, and any three other Arts/Social Science subjects. Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science/Arts subject. DIRECT ENTRY:         (i) UNILORIN accepts a pass in Mathematics in lieu of credit pass.     (ii) NCE with at least one teaching subject in Arts/Social science subjects.     (ii) UNILORIN requires NCE with at least a teaching Subject in Arts or Social Science (Preference will be given to NCE holders for direct entry).           EDUCATION & YORUBA At least Two GCE/IJMB ‘A’ level/NCE passes in Yoruba and any of Literature-in-English, CRS, IRS, Igbo and French. Five ‘O’ level/TC II credit or merit passes including English Language and Yoruba Yoruba and any two subjects chosen from History, Literature-in-English, French, CRK, Islamic Studies, Arabic and Geography.         COUNSELLOR EDUCATION          (i) Two ‘A’ level passes in GCE/IJMB/NCE to include at least one Teaching subject in Art/Social Science/Science subjects/Agric Education. Five ‘O’ level credits or GCE/SSCE/NECO/ Any three Arts/Social Science/Science subjects. DIRECT ENTRY:   TC II to include English Language, Mathematics and any three other Arts/Social Science/ Science subjects.           UNILORIN accepts a pass grade in Mathematics for students who combine Guidance and Counselling with subjects other than Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics.           PRIMARY EDUCATION STUDIES Two ‘A’ level passes in GCE/IJMB to include at least one Teaching subject in Art/Social Science/Science subjects. Five ‘O’ level credits passes in GCE/SSCE/ NECO/TC II to include English Language, Mathematics and any three other Art/Social Science/ Science subjects. Any three Art/Social Science/Science subjects.  DIRECT ENTRY:                   UNILORIN accepts pass grade in Mathematics for candidates who combine Primary Education Studies with subjects other than Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics.  EDUCATION AND  At least two, IJMB/GCE’A’ level/NCE passes in Biology and Chemistry Five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and one other subject Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics   BIOLOGY                 EDUCATION AND CHEMISTRY At least two ‘A’ Level/NCE passes including Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology Five ‘O’ Level credits in Mathematics, Chemistry, English Language and two of Physics, Biology and Agricultural Science Chemistry, Biology and any other Science subject                   EDUCATION AND MATHEMATICS At least two IJMB/GCE ‘A’ level/NCE passes in Mathematics and Statistics/Physics/Chemistry Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language and Mathematics Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Economics.                   EDUCATION AND  (i) At least Two IJMB/GCE ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics Five ‘O’ level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics. Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Further Mathematics/Technical Drawing PHYSICS (ii) NCE with credit/merit in relevant subjects.                                                                       EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (i) At least two ‘A’ level passes to include Physics and Mathematics Five ‘O’ level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, one Science Subject and any two other related subjects. English Language Mathematics and any other two related subjects.  DIRECT ENTRY:   NCE in Fine and Applied Arts/Vocational/Introductory Technology, Computer Education, Educational Technology, Integrated Science, Physical Science, Social Science Subjects.     ILORIN gives special consideration to candidates with Fine Arts background and NCE (Technical) or Fine Arts plus at least Credit Pass in two other subjects at ‘O’ level.   Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts/Visual Arts/Industrial Arts.                            HEALTH EDUCATION (i) At least two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent to include any of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Government, Christian/Islamic Religious Studies Five ‘O’ level credits in GCE / SSCE / NECO / TCII / equivalent to include English Language and any four of the following subjects: Biology, Integrated Science, Home Economics, Geography, Government, Mathematics and Literature-in-English, Agricultural Science,  One Science subject and any two other subjects           (ii) Diploma in Health Education/Environmental Sanitation/Physical and Health Education, Social Work/Health Administration       (iii) Diploma in Nursing (NRN/Midwifery)                       HUMAN KINETICS (i) Two ‘A’ level passes to include any of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics; Geography, Government, CRS/IRS. Five ‘O’ level credits /TC II equivalent to include English Language and any four of the following subjects: Biology, Integrated Science, Home Economics, Government, Commerce, Geography, Literature-in-English, Health Science, Agricultural Science, CRS/IRS. One Science subject and any other two subjects. DIRECT ENTRY   (ii) NCE in Physical and Health Education/ Agricultural Science/ Science Education,            (iii) Diploma in Physical and Health Education.     (a) All candidates seeking admission into the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education may be interviewed.         (iv) Diploma in Sports Administration of the NIS     (b) NCE/TC II with merit grade is accepted.   (v) Diploma in Computer Science, Social Work/Accounting/Data Processing/Money and Banking/Administrative Management.
