REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING STUDENTS
Returning Students of the University are to check their goodstanding status on the University of Ilorin website, by logging into their account, using their matriculation number and password.
NOTE: If you are a student of the Unbiversity and your name does not appear on goodstanding list write a letter to your Head of Department and copy Deputy Registrar (Academic).
IF IN GOODSTANDING
- If in good standing or on probation, proceed to the course registration link and register for courses as appropriate, i.e. register for courses failed before you register for courses in the current level.
- Print out completed course form and forward to your Level adviser, who would authenticate the courses you have selected.
NOTE: Any Student who fails to authenticate selected courses before payment does so at his/her own risk.
- After authentication, go back to the website and register as advised by your level adviser.
- Your customized charges and levies would be displayed and you would be requested to use your pin and payment card details of the previous year for payment of approved charges.
NOTE: Students are expected to pay only N250.00 in addition to their charges and levies. Students are equally expected to pay N100.00 only at the bank of loading.
- Please note that if you have forgotten your payment card PIN, click on “Pin Recovery” link on the left menu and follow the instruction therein to recover same.
- If Payment is successful, you are to print the payment receipt and final copy of the course form in four copies.
- Forward these course forms to your head of Department and Faculty Officer for appropriate signatures and collect your copy from the Faculty office.
IF NOT IN GOODSTANDING
If not in good standing, further instructions would be displayed for your information
- Click the link displayed
- Make online payment for Change of Change of Course form on account of not being in good standing (provided you are qualified)
- Download the form
- Complete the appropriate steps physically
- Duly approved transfer form must be submitted to the system administrator through the Academic Office before you can proceed to register.
OTHER ISSUES
RECOVERY OF PIN
- If you have forgotten your pin, visit the Unilorin Portal, click on PIN RECOVERY link (after logging-in to your profile on the portal) and follow the procedure for recovery. OR
- Send mail to support@etranzact.net for any other related problem.
TRANSFER ON ACCOUNT OF NOT BEING IN GOOD STANDING
- Check your Good standing status by login-in into your account on the Unilorin Portal
- If you are not in Good standing but qualify to transfer to another programme, download the transfer form after making payment of appropriate charge.
ADD AND/OR DROP FORM
Important Information: this form can be accessed for adding or dropping of course within 3 weeks of resumption and not earlier than 2 weeks to the end of the semester. All procedures for actualizing the semester addition or dropping of course must be within the stipulated period.
Procedures for add/drop
1. Payment for the add/drop form is done at the prevailing cost for using electronic payment
2. The form is printed online from the portal and manually completed. Note that the permission of the Head of Department and approval of the Dean should be obtained.
3. The form is forwarded to the Deputy Registrar (Academic) through the Head of Department with a copy of payment receipt attached to the form.
- Changes requested for are effected and the student must print a new Course Registration Form from the portal which supersedes the earlier one.
- The approved change of Course Form, payment receipt and new course form are forwarded to the Level Adviser and Faculty Officer for endorsement
INSUFFICIENT BALANCE/ FUND
- Students who could not continue with the online Registration due to Insufficient Balance or Fund should click the “insufficient balance” from the menu. OR
- Send mail to support@etranzact.net
IN ABILITY TO CONTINUE WITH REGISTRATION.
- If unable to proceed with Biodata Registration due to invalid entry – check the spelling of your name and JAMB Registration Number OR Matric Number if you are a returning student.
- If you are still unable to login due to password error, use the password recovery as directed on the portal after payment of N1,000.00 only
