PROCEDURE FOR CHANGE OF COURSE FOR RETURNING STUDENTS


 Withdrawn  Students seeking transfer to other programmes should note the following :

A student who is not in good standing and has been advised to withdraw from the University should note the following:

  • A GPA of not less than 1.5 qualifies a student to transfer to the Faculties of Agriculture, Education and Science
  • A minimum GPA of 1.00 qualifies a student to transfer to the faculties of Agriculture and Education.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.00 qualifies a student to transfer to the faculties of Agriculture, Basic Medical Science, Education and Science.

A student who had been on probation and still not in Good Standing and has been advised to withdraw from a programme should note that he/ she can only enjoy transfer ONCE.

PROCEDURE

Step 1:             Make the necessary payment-on-line of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2000.00).

Step 2:             Download the form titled “Change of faculty/School OR Department”

Step 3:             Attach the following documents to your form:

  • JAMB results which will indicate your combination OR evidence of having come in through the University Remedial programme (e.g. receipt of payment).
  • School certificates (e.g. WAEC and NECO etc).
  •  ‘A’ level results where applicable
  • Evidence of on-line payment.

Step 4:             Sign yourself out of your former department and faculty and seek  for a new programme which the HOD of the new Department and Dean of the faculty would recommend you by endorsing the form

Step 5:             Drop this completed form in the Academic office and check back within 48 hours for your approval or otherwise.

Step 6:             Go back on-line to commence your registration in the new programme at the appropriate level as specified in your letter of approval.

Payment will be needed for the process.

The University of Texas at Austin and Dell are searching for student social entrepreneurs all over the world to dream up ingenious ideas to change the world.

College students worldwide are invited to enter the 2010 Dell Social Innovation Competition for a chance to win $50,000 to turn their ideas into a new business or nonprofit with a mission to change lives for the better.

The deadline to enter is March 1, 2010. Students can submit their ideas online at http://www.dellsocialinnovationcompetition.com.
