PROCEDURE FOR CHANGE OF COURSE FOR RETURNING STUDENTS
Withdrawn Students seeking transfer to other programmes should note the following :
A student who is not in good standing and has been advised to withdraw from the University should note the following:
- A GPA of not less than 1.5 qualifies a student to transfer to the Faculties of Agriculture, Education and Science
- A minimum GPA of 1.00 qualifies a student to transfer to the faculties of Agriculture and Education.
- A minimum GPA of 2.00 qualifies a student to transfer to the faculties of Agriculture, Basic Medical Science, Education and Science.
A student who had been on probation and still not in Good Standing and has been advised to withdraw from a programme should note that he/ she can only enjoy transfer ONCE.
PROCEDURE
Step 1: Make the necessary payment-on-line of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2000.00).
Step 2: Download the form titled “Change of faculty/School OR Department”
Step 3: Attach the following documents to your form:
- JAMB results which will indicate your combination OR evidence of having come in through the University Remedial programme (e.g. receipt of payment).
- School certificates (e.g. WAEC and NECO etc).
- ‘A’ level results where applicable
- Evidence of on-line payment.
Step 4: Sign yourself out of your former department and faculty and seek for a new programme which the HOD of the new Department and Dean of the faculty would recommend you by endorsing the form
Step 5: Drop this completed form in the Academic office and check back within 48 hours for your approval or otherwise.
Step 6: Go back on-line to commence your registration in the new programme at the appropriate level as specified in your letter of approval.
