 NIGERIA UNIVERSITIES DOCTORAL THESES AWARD SCHEME (NUDTAS):  2005 AWARDS

 Following submissions from your University in consideration for 2005 awards under the Nigerian Universities Doctoral Theses Award Scheme (NUDTAS),

I am pleased to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the thesis listed below from your university emerged winner for the award in its respective discipline:

1)         Physiological problems support systems and counseling needs of African Refugee in Nigeria by Adegbite A. Sola Ibrahim (Faculty of Education,

            Department of Guidance and Counseling, University of Ilorin):- NUDTAS Award Winner in Education.        

 The 2005 NUDTAS award presentation ceremonies are scheduled to hold at the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto between 8^th and 9^th July, 2008

(see attached tentative programme of activities).  Each prospective awardee is expected to make a 30-minute oral presentation on the highlights of his/her

award-winning thesis on Tuesday 8^th July, 2008 while the award presentations shall hold on Wednesday 9^th July, 2008.

 We wish to request that you kindly inform Dr. Adegbite A. Sola Ibrahim of the award and request him to prepare a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation

of highlights of his thesis.

 We also request that you kindly prepare and forward a short citation on the awardee to the undersigned on or before 2 June, 2008.

 The National Universities Commission shall be responsible for the transport, accommodation and board expenses of the award winner, while your university is

expected to sponsor the supervisor(s) of the awardee and any other representative of the university as you deem appropriate.
