WAUG 2011: 2nd Semester is Sports Semester

s the University of Ilorin prepares to host the 13rd edition of the West African University Games (WAUG) next year, the authorities of the University have declared the second semester of the current 2009/2010 session “Sports Semester”.
The annual
students sporting activities (i.e. the Vice-Chancellor Soccer Cup and the
Inter-Faculty Championships) in athletics, badminton, basketball, chess,
squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball
These sporting activities, as the University upgrades its facilities and increasing training, will commence in March through April, 2010.
The University staff are also expected to compete in various sports such as soccer, athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, scrabble, squash, table tennis, tennis, dart draught, ayo and volleyball.
The staff games are scheduled to hold between May and July, 2010 after the students’ competition.
