The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Brief History: Introduction
A new veterinary faculty in the university of Ilorin for the study of the care, production, problems and wellbeing of all animals started, with the appointment on 21st September 2010 of Professor AbdulGaniy Ambali.  A professor of Avian and Aquatic Animal and Medicine.
Curriculum
Curriculum in accordance to the National Universities Commission (NUC) Guidelines was prepared and approved by the University Senate.  The task of setting up a definite location for the take-off was completed within the period under review and a verification assessment by the National Universities Commission was  conducted on June 26th 2011.
