SUBMISSSION GUIDELINES

UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN OPEN COURSEWARE

Developed Courseware are to be submitted by Heads of Departments on CDs attached to a covering memo listing the courses contained on the CDs for which courseware is being submitted, to: The Collator, Courseware Development Committee, Library & Information Science Dept., Faculty of Communication & Information Sciences (Block 10). The covering memo should indicate that the Courseware have been presented at a departmental seminar and is to the satisfaction of the department. The CD should also contain a list of all the courses (course code – course title) that is on offer in the department. It is expected that courseware for all courses taught in a semester will be submitted at the end of a semester. This will give all lecturers the opportunity to revise their material based on classroom experiences. Since the courseware is to be uploaded to the university website, Heads of Department / Programme Coordinators have the responsibility of quality assurance. The Courseware Development Committee mandates HODs/Coordinators to organise Seminars in which each Courseware developer will present the courseware developed to the satisfaction of the department.
