ResourcesThe faculty has continued to ensure warm, conducive and friendly academic environment for teaching, learning and research for the benefits of our staff and students. In this wise, efforts are always made to upgrade the facilities in the faculty. A lot of resources are invested in terms of the acquisition of equipments and building projects. In particular most of our office accommodations are well ventilated, furnished and equipped with modern office gadgets including computers (with internet connection), printers, scanners, fans, air conditioners, telephones, televisions (with satellite connections). LECTURE ROOMS The faculty has 11 large classrooms, each of which can accommodate between 80 and 120 students. In addition, a lecture room complex has reached completion. The complex has 8 classrooms each of which can also accommodate between 80 and 120 students. LIBRARY The faculty has a law library within the faculty complex. The library has a large up to date collection of books, periodicals, precedents, encyclopaedia and law reports. The seating arrangement has been organised in such a way as to guarantee privacy and concentration. There are library staff, headed by the law librarian, who provide assistance to staff and students in the library. There is also a small faculty staff library for the exclusive use of staff and postgraduate students of the faculty. In addition, the University has a main library which contains materials from related disciplines and an e-library which is the main source for accessing electronic journals and materials. COMPUTER ROOM There is a computer room which has 10 desktop systems all of which are connected to the internet. The computer room is manned by a dedicated IT officer. MOOT COURT The faculty has a standard moot courtroom complete with Judge’s chambers. The moot courtroom is used for students’ moot, mock trials and debate. The room is also used as a seminar room and boardroom for academic staff.
