Brief Personal Profile

I was born in Owode Ofaro, Kwara State, I am versatile in the use of computer applicable to public health. I Enjoy taking on new challenges. I am honest, hardworking and dedicated, with excellent psychological and physical fitness. I have strength of determination in producing creative solutions, when working with own initiative or as part of a team in a very challenging and friendly environment. I am proficient in the application of clinical skills and program management with particular attention for details, even when under pressure. I am endowed with quick understanding of new technologies and excellent ability to adapt to new environments.I have special skills in developing capacity and knowledge transfer for students and health workers in primary health care activities at the various levels and in tertiary health institutions, immunization programmes and maternal and child health. I am blessed with functional skills and experience in disease eradication and control programmes suchas polio eradication, tuberculosis, cerebrospinal-meningitis, HIV/AIDS, measles and malaria control. At the community level, it includes integrated disease surveillance, emergency preparedness and response, epidemiological assessment, counseling and health education, among other public health activities. Expert in treatment, prevention and control of communicable and non communicable diseases. Past and present clinical duties include direct and indirect in- and out-patient care in clinics and hospital wards. Specific duties include case diagnosis, ancillary investigations and treatment (including basic surgical procedures).
