Brief personal profile

A graduate of University of Ilorin. Had postgraduate residency training in internal medicine with a sub-specialization in Neurology. A recipient of the following international awards:
1.    American Academy of Neurology International Scholarship Award to attend the 61st Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Neurology in Seattle, Washington, USA from 25th April to 2nd May, 2009.
2.    Travel Grant awarded by the International Association for the Study of Pain to attend the 12th World Congress on Pain held from 17-22 August, 2008 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
3.    IBRO Travel Grant awarded by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), France, to attend the Joint World Congress on Stroke organized by the International Stroke Society, Mediterranean Stroke Society and South African Stroke Foundation which held from 26 to 29 October, 2006 in Cape Town, South Africa.
4.    Bursary awarded by the conference organizers (World Federation of Neurology) to cover half of registration fee for the World Congress of Neurology which held in Sydney, Australia from 5 to 11 November, 2005 in which my abstract was accepted for oral presentation.
5.    Scholarship awarded by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) to participate in the 10th African Neuroscience School jointly sponsored by IBRO, Fogarty International Center and the National Institute of Health, USA which held from 22 to 29 July, 2005 in Bamako, Mali.
6.    Undergraduate scholarship awarded by the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (1990-1996).
