Abdulrauf-Salau, Aishat  is a Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, Ilorin. She holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science Degrees in Mass Communication from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) of the National Teachers’ Institute Kaduna. Aishat is a member of professional bodies such as Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Nigerian Chapter.

Aishat has published a book on Text Messaging and Political News Dissemination to Students in Nigeria: Potentials, Uses and Prospects, has also published in a reputable journal and have attended and presented a paper at a conference in addition to attending various workshops. Her major assignments are Teaching, research supervision, examination supervision and marking. Aishat teaches the following courses: Critical Issues in Mass Media, Community Broadcasting, Video, Film Theory and Aesthetics, Introduction to Film, Cinema and Literature, Drama and Documentary Production, Introduction to Radio Production, Mass Media and Society and Announcing and Performance.
