Dr. S.O. Aghalino

Dr. Samuel Ovuete Aghalino is the Head of Department.  His area of specialization is Economic and Social History with emphasis on Oil and Gas Exploration and Production and the Environment. He holds a B.A. (Ed) (Honours) Degree in History from the Bendel State University, Ekpoma.  He obtained the M.A and Ph.D in History from the University of Ilorin. He was a visiting Lecturer to Delta State University, between 2005 and 2006. Dr. Aghalino has published well over thirty articles in both local and internationals journals. He is member of several professional associations including Historical Society of Nigeria, Friends of the Earth, Environmental Rights Action and Peace and Collaborative Development Network.
