  109. b)     FUND ATTRACTION
  110. •    I was instrumental to the attraction of national and international funds to the tune of                   over 3 million naira between 2004 and 2007 for the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin. The fund attracted was used to build the Leo Van de Mierop Biotechnology Laboratory. Faculty of Agriculture by the use of these attracted funds became the only Faculty in the University that has built and partially equipped a laboratory for specialized research. The Biotech laboratory has since become the rallying point of professional Biotechnologists in Unilorin.
  111. •    Through my international contacts, the Faculty has recently received offers of collaborative research works and possible staff visit program from Katholeic University, Leuven, Belgium.
  112. •    I was instrumental to the attraction of research funds from Kwara ADP (1996) and Bio-ingredients Ltd (2000-2005) into the Faculty.
