ProgrammesDegree Programmes Available in the Department of Science Education There are currently five distinct Bachelor degree programmes available in the Department of Science Education. These are: In Science Education - B.Sc. (Ed) Mathematics;
- B.Sc. (Ed) Physics,
- B.Sc. (Ed) Chemistry;
- B.Sc. (Ed) Biology, and
In Educational Technology - B.Ed. (Educational Technology).
Students can also minor in Introductory Technology Each degree programme has three distinct academic curriculum components, namely: First Major (Education); 2nd Major (Selected teaching subject) offered from 100 Level through 400 Level and a Minor teaching subject offered as from the 100 level and normally terminating at the end of the 300 Level. In running the degree programmes effectively, the Department of Science Education depends on appropriate co-operating departments drawn from the Faculty of Science for handling of the teaching subjects either major or minor.
