INTRODUCTION

The Centre for International Education is a unit in the University of Ilorin, licensed by the University Senate with the responsibility of initiating, encouraging, promoting, facilitating and coordinating international programmes and linkages, faculty and student exchanges and mobility, collaborative research projects across academic disciplines and global network. The Centre’s vision is “Connecting with the World through Education”.

ACCOMMODATION

The University of Ilorin has ten halls of residences based on two separate campuses with exception of international hostel and post graduate hostel. They both consist of two bed spaces.
Students share a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area in each hostel. All rooms have its own study space and showered toilet.
A number of rooms are exclusive to accommodate disadvantaged students.

It is within this perspective that the University Senate established the Centre for International Education and Links in April 2009 with a view to enhance building relationships with other world-class universities, ranging from Africa to Europe to Asia and America.
