PREAMBLE: NAAS is a body that comprises all the students of the Faculty of Agriculture. The Association is in affiliation with the national body of NAAS and International Association of Agricultural Students (IAAS). MOTTO: If Agriculture remains stagnant, industry will not grow.
LOGO: A round logo showing the map of Nigeria in which a tractor would be at the centre, an animal in the north while a maize stand would be at the south.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES 1. Promoting the educational and social advancement of the members of the Association. 2. Making all members of the Association interested in its activities. 3. Recognition of Agriculture as an enviable profession in Nigeria and encouragement of members of the Association to create a respectable image of the profession in the country. 4. Promoting cordial relationship between members of the Association and members of staff of the faculty. 5. Establishing a cordial relationship between the mother-Association in the Faculty of Agriculture.
MEMEBERSHIP 1. Membership is automatic for all students registered at the Faculty of Agriculture. 2. All financial members are entitled to all privileges befitting them. 3. Their membership places them under all obligations to the association. 4. Every member’s participation in the Association’s activities is very important.
RIGHT AND DUTIES OF MEMBERS. 1. All financial members have the right to vote and be voted for. 2. Irrespective of (1) above, only members that have spent at least one academic session in the faculty shall enjoy the right to be voted for. 3. Every member shall have access to helpful information and details about the association. 4. Every member shall have the right to give his/her suggestion(s) and shall be given a fair hearing in any situation. 5. All members shall have the privilege to make use of the facilities provided by the association. 6. All members shall attend to any call by the association. 7. All new members shall pass through an orientation programme to be organised by the association. 8. New members of the association shall have the right to obtain a copy of the Association’s constitution when duly registered.
