Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management

In line with the general philosophies of the Faculty for the Bachelor of Agriculture programme the Department will:

1. Expose the students to the principles of Micro and Macro Economics;
2. Impart the theory and practice of the management of resources and the economics of resource use;
3. Expose students to the influence of government policies, programmes and projects as well as the international economies on the management of agricultural enterprises for increased profitability.
