International Journal of the 13th West Africa University Games

The International Journal of the 13th West Africa University Games (IJWAUG) is an outcome of the well attended University of Ilorin WAUG Conference held at the university of Ilorin Auditorium between the 29th-31st March,2012. It is in furtherance of the mood of the objective of the games association to include a scientific conference component in the overall programme of the game so as to depict the uniqueness of the games which is essentially a competition among University students. The primary objective of the journal is to publish scholarly and scientific articles, writings and posters in the areas that will parade contemporary trends and innovation in sports, science and culture. In addition, to providing outlets for the publication of well researched findings, it also presents opportunities for professionals in various fields of learning to disseminate information on topics of global and interests and issues that captured within the sphere of the journal’s objectives. Hence the journal pursues a policy of accepting articles from all disciplines in the academia, sports scientists, specialists in Human kinetics and Health Education, Social Scientists, Sports administrators, Ministries of sports and Social Development personnel, Medical practitioners, Nurses, Health workers, Coaches, Sportsmen and women, Politicians, Journalists, Researchers in NGOs, and the humanities.
