Professor Olugbenga A. MOKUOLU

Mokuolu assumed duty as Director, CIE at the University of Ilorin on 8th August, 2011. Mokuolu is a Professor of Paediatrics and Childhealth with focus on neonatology and malaria. He has published extensively in local and international journals. His particular strengths are in developing malaria training documents, application of low cost technologies in the care of newborn and mentoring. He has collaborated on a number of multi-centre/multicountry studies that have resulted in land mark findings in newborn thermo regulation and malaria case managment. He is a Consultant to many international organizations (WHO, UNICEF, RBM, Global Fund etc) where he is involved in policy formulation, capacity development and resource mobilization. He is the Unilorin Researcher of the Year for 2010.  At the CIE, he provides the overall leadership. However, more specifically, he is responsible for capacity development, research collaborations and international relations. He is a team player with a consumate vision for internationalization of education.

Mr T.K.W.T. THALAGUNE
Deputy Director, Centre for International Education
At CIE, his work involves the coordination of faculty linkages, scholarships, facilitating the development of Memoranda of Understanding. A citizen of Sri Lanka, Mr. Thalagune assumed duty as Deputy Director on 21st February, 2011. Mr Thalagune was formerly the Registrar at the Sabaragasmuwa University of Sri Lanka.

Dr. Raymond O. OGUNADE
Assistant Director (Adminstrative Affairs)
Description: DrAs the Assistant Director for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ogunade oversees the team that is charged with the day to day running of the Centre. He is also charged with the duty of recruiting international staff and students, collaborating with the University’s liaison offices and coordinating  staff applications for learned conferences.  A graduate of Lagos State University, Dr. Ogunade holds a Masters degree as well as PhD from the University of Ilorin. An awardee of  Center for Theology and Natural Sciences’ Science and Religion Course Program (2001); ACU Titular Fellow, Swansea University, Wales (2010/2011) and also a Fellow of  the Study of  the United States Institute on Religious Pluralism, UC Santa Barbara (June-August, 2011) He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Religions, Faculty of Arts, University of Ilorin.

Dr. Ismaila.O.O. AMALI
Assistant Director (Immigration Affairs)
Description: AMALI, ISMAILA OTEIKWU ONCHEAs an expert on immigration affairs in Nigeria, Dr. Amali has been an excellent team member of the Visa affairs in the department. He oversees Immigration and Passage issues related to foreign staff and students as well as those on exchange programme to the university. Dr Amali can be contacted for issues relating to immigration, passage and Visa.

Dr. Lateef O. IBRAHEEM
Assistant Director (Operations)
The Assistant Director Operations oversees operatioal logistics of the Centre. In this capacity he is charged with the webcontent management,  accommodation for international staff and students and infrastructional developments of the Centre. Dr. Ibraheem simultaneously works as a lecturer in the Department of Arabic, University of Ilorin. A PhD holder, Dr. Ibraheem specializes in teaching Arabic as a foreign language, Islamic Literature and he is a 2006 awardee of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Government Scholarship for PGD (TAFL).

Mr. Abdulhakeem ZUBAIR
Administrative Secretary
Description: MalMr. Zubair holds a Bachelors degree as well as Masters Degree in Arabic from the University of Ilorin. As an administrative Secretary, his duties in clude the general administrative issues within the Centre. Mr. Zubair can be contacted as the first point of information for the Centre for International Education. He speaks English, Arabic and French languages fluently.

Miss Amina OKE
Adminstrative Assistant
Description: C:\Users\Amina Oke\Pictures\PASSPORT 2.jpgAs the administrative assistant, Miss Oke basically backstops the adminstrative activities; deputizes for Senior Officers where possible of the Centre. She is also in charge of correspondence and the interractive webpage.  content is in charge of internet content and web page of the Centre. Miss Oke holds a Bachelors degree in English from the University of Ilorin and a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
